Description

The Electrical Engineering Technician must have knowledge and experience with the following:
-repairing

electrical and electro-mechanical components
-installing

and maintaining electrical components
-repairing

and conducting preventive maintenance of production equipment
-completing work orders that follow proper Egg Farm standards




Reports to the Director of Engineering and

Maintenance

Requirements

-Knowledgeable with HVAC, various electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical system and how they interact with each other

-Experienced with PLC’s

-Able to trouble shoot and replace, and program VFDs

-Extensive experience troubleshooting and repairing of the following electrical circuits:

-120/208 single and 3 phase power circuits

-480/ 277 single and 3 phase power circuits

-Control circuits of various voltages

-Has to have experience with or be willing to learn plumbing

-Understands the difference between and able to work with digital and analog circuits

-Effective both working independently and as a member of a team

-Highly effective interpersonal and organizational skills

-Effective verbal and written communication

-Will be required to work overtime as needed

-A ‘can do’, positive attitude
